But the build required data engineering, machine learning, infrastructure, curriculum design, scriptwriting, and product judgment. The process itself became evidence of where the profession is heading.

About Bri Doyle

Bri Doyle is a product manager with a grounded background in software development and entrepreneurship. His 25-year career spans naval aviation, Cisco—where he currently owns the secure image factory powering more than 75 brands—Northrop Grumman, USAA, and Rackspace.

At Northrop Grumman, he held end-to-end accountability for the government delivery of a next-generation, real-time space asset, leading more than 40 engineers across five teams. Alongside his product and technology work, Bri has spent two decades operating multiple ventures across software, franchise ownership, commercial real estate, and small business—with successful exits and the scars to teach from.

He works on hard problems whose solutions must perform for decades, not quarters.

Bri is developing the Chief Product Officer course series at the University of Maryland’s A. James Clark School of Engineering and holds a Master’s in Product Management from the same program. His curriculum is grounded in a decade of practitioner discourse and a career spent actually shipping the work—not merely framing it.
