My goal in teaching is not only to convey a body of knowledge but also help the student incorporate that knowledge into their careers and life. We will discuss how portfolio, program, and project management can be utilized at work and at home. The focus is not to just transmit knowledge but also developing the student’s abilities as a critical thinker and an independent scholar.

John is a seasoned professional project, program, and portfolio manager with added academic credentials. 35 plus year in the field, John has not only been a management at all levels, he has consulted with senior leaders, including being the subject matter expert for the Section 809 Panel on Volume 3, Section 2 on Portfolio Management Framework for the Department of Defense.. John teaches as Univ of Maryland PM COE, American University School Public Affairs, and Defense Systems Management College. He is also the President of the College of Performance Management, a niche member association on performance management for project, programs, and portfolios.
